CambridgeDocs xDoc XML to RTF Publishing

The CambridgeDocs xDoc product family is able to publish XML content as an RTF file, which can then be opened in Microsoft Word, through the use of its Java PublishRTF Driver. 

Publishing to RTF is a two step process.  First, another xDoc Driver, the Java XSLT Driver, reads in the original XML and transforms it to XSL:FO, which is a sophisticated XML formatting specification. CambridgeDocs provides an XSLT stylesheet, out-of-the-box, that transforms the stylistic content output from its Conversion Drivers into XSL:FO, as shown below.

Second, after the content is transformed to XSL:FO format, the Java PublishRTF Driver reads in the XSL:FO and outputs RTF, as shown below:

The RTF that is output from the PublishRTF Driver can be optimized for Word 2000, Word 2002 (Word XP), and Word 2003.
